Prime 1 Studio is made up of three divisions, Creative, Sales, and Office, and a wide variety of roles.

Creative

Product Planner: Plans and develops new figures and statues, negotiates with licensors, and directs sculptors and finishers, drawing on talent inside and outside the company to lead each product to success.
Merchandise Planner: Plans and develops original merchandise for a variety of titles, handling material selection, cost and schedule management, and releasing products that meet fans' needs and trends.
Concept Artist: Creates the concept art (illustrations) that statues and figures are based on, combining thorough research with original ideas to bring out each character's full appeal.
Product Development & Production Control: Manages quality and delivery in coordination with our overseas bases, traveling to factories in China and elsewhere to set specifications, manage production progress, inspect (PPD and mass production), and direct revisions.
Costume Designer & Special Effects Creator: Handles costumes and accessories for statues and figures, including samples, sourcing, and processing design, as well as costumes for event companions and apparel.
Sculptor: Creates the prototypes used to mass-produce figures and statues, using modeling software such as ZBrush and Blender.
Finisher: In a clean environment with spray booths, handles the full process of making paint masters, from airbrush painting to detailing eyes and mouths.
Graphic Designer: Designs key visuals, promotional images, packaging, and decals, as well as editorial design such as manuals and pamphlets.
Photographer: Shoots and develops product photos, from product shots that accurately convey color, form, and texture to image shots that highlight each product's appeal, finishing official images with our graphic designers.
Videographer: Produces promotional videos, including NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE watched by collectors worldwide, handling planning, shooting, and editing in Premiere Pro and After Effects at our in-house studio with an LED-wall virtual production stage.
3DCG Creator: Creates 3D backgrounds for promotional videos in Unreal Engine and Blender, used on our LED-wall virtual production stage and released worldwide as part of our promotional content.

Sales

Licensing & Planning Sales: Develops new products, negotiates with licensors, and directs sculptors and finishers, drawing on talent inside and outside the company to lead each product to success.
International & Domestic Sales: International sales covering Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and domestic sales for the Japanese market, both focused on expanding channels and sales through proposals to new retailers and wholesalers and pop-up events with existing customers.
Sales Assistant: Supports sales staff with administrative work, such as preparing invoices and meeting materials in MS Office and entering order data. Skills such as driving or English can also be put to use.
Shop Staff: Runs our gallery shop at Yurakucho Marui 7F in Tokyo: customer service, register, inventory, and event planning, including serving visitors from English- and Chinese-speaking countries.
Promotion Planning: Promotes our statues, figures, and merchandise through web and social media advertising, magazine reviews, TV exposure, and major events, choosing the best measures based on market research.
Social Media: Plans and runs promotional activities on our official accounts on X (Twitter), Instagram, and more, such as product PR and giveaway campaigns, including replies to users based on solid online literacy.
Shipping & Sales Control: Manages product shipments and inventory with dedicated systems, tracking product types, quantities, and delivery dates so that customer orders are handled smoothly.
Customer Support: Responds to inquiries from customers around the world in English, Chinese, and other languages, answering questions about payment, after-sales service, and more by email and social media.
E-commerce Operations: Works to grow traffic and sales of our online stores as a data analyst, a web designer who also acts as a front-end engineer, or back-office staff handling payment confirmation and inventory, depending on skills and aptitude.

Office

In-house Systems Engineer: Maintains and develops our e-commerce sites with team members and other departments, and improves internal systems and provides IT support as our business grows.
Group Secretary: Supports executives and managers with schedule coordination, information gathering and reporting, preparing materials and meetings, and accompanying overseas business trips, using English and document skills.
English-speaking Administrator: Handles general administration using business-level English: phone and email with overseas customers and affiliates, customs documents and quotations for imports and exports, and translation and interpretation for meetings and business trips.
Administrator: Supports the entire organization through phone and email, reception, documents, filing, facilities, supplies, training, and HR administration such as social insurance and onboarding and offboarding.
Accounting: Records and quantifies the flow of money and transactions to manage the company's finances, from daily invoices and receipts to monthly closing and year-end tasks, in consultation with executives and tax accountants.
Human Resources: Handles organization, employee compensation, and the working environment, and supports employee growth from recruitment to training, development, and evaluation.
Interpreter & Translator (English, Chinese, Vietnamese): Uses business-level spoken and written English, Chinese, or Vietnamese to interpret on executive business trips and prepare multilingual meeting materials, communicating clearly with a deep understanding of each culture.
Business Strategy Advisor: Draws on executive-level knowledge, experience, and networks to advise on business strategy and act as a bridge to new clients.
